This week we held our annual MacMillan coffee morning by baking and eating lots of cakes, cookies and pastries to raise money and support the amazing work done by MacMillan Cancer Support.
McMillian Cancer Support does so much fantastic work to support people living with cancer as well as their families and friends and is a cause close to many of our hearts, so we are delighted to raise money for such a deserving charity.
As part of our coffee morning we held the ‘Great Scantec Bake Off’ competition with members of the team cooking up their tasty signature bakes and vying for the title of ‘Star Baker’ 2021!
After much taste testing and deliberation by our very own Prue Leith and Mary Berry (Andrea and Katie!), Star Baker was awarded to Chris Jones for his delicious giant cookies!
A huge thank you and well done to all of our bakers and to everyone who contributed by bringing in cakes and by making donations so far!
