Legislation requires all agency workers to be given a Key Information Document (KID) before agreeing to work with an employment business – as part of Regulation 13A of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
The Key Information Document is intended to improve the transparency of information provided, particularly around pay, including an overview of how any fees and deductions will affect the your pay throughout a labour supply chain. The KIDS will enable an you to make a more informed decision about taking on an assignment based on how your take-home pay is affected by agency fees and other deductions.
