Job Title: Mechanical Fitters (Tunnel Ventilation Maintenance)
Location: Conwy, North Wales

Duration: Ongoing
Shifts: 3 nights per week, 8–10 hour shifts (no overtime)
Pay Model: CIS – Competitive rates in line with current market trends
Job Overview:
We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters with a strong background in factory or industrial environments to join an ongoing tunnel maintenance project in Conwy. The role focuses on maintaining and servicing fan ventilation systems within the tunnel and offers consistent night shift work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on tunnel fan vents
- Inspect, dismantle, and repair mechanical components as needed
- Work safely and effectively within confined tunnel environments
- Collaborate with the team to ensure minimal disruption during operations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter in an industrial or factory setting
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent
- Ability to work night shifts (3 nights per week)
- Comfortable working in enclosed spaces
- Strong focus on health & safety practices
