Project Planner Opportunity – Permanent (Defence/Construction)
A major UK infrastructure project is underway, delivering modern, sustainable solutions for critical national assets with one of the world’s leading construction and project development companies. This high-profile programme will regenerate existing facilities, introduce cutting-edge technology, and enhance operational efficiency. The long-term project will employ hundreds of professionals across various disciplines, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in large-scale project delivery while contributing to a key sector.
The Role: Project Planner (Defence)
Location: Gloucestershire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Up to £65,000 - £70,000 + £5k car allowance + benefits
Project End Date: 2028
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate fully integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
- Monitor progress, report on key milestones, and contribute to project control measures.
- Support senior planners in delivering phase sequence plans, method statements, and NEC3 contractual requirements.
- Work on a high-profile, nationally significant programme within a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
What You’ll Need:
✅ Experience in planning within construction, infrastructure, or traditional building projects (ideally £30M+ in value).
✅ Proficiency in Asta PowerProject or Primavera P6.
✅ Strong project controls and scheduling experience.
✅ Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) – UK residency required for at least 5 years.
✅ A UK driver’s licence.
