Senior Civil & Structural Engineer
SC Clearance Required
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering team working on major infrastructure and highly regulated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects in highly regulated industries, including nuclear, oil & gas, and process sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications, ensuring seamless integration with BIM teams. You will collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and construction teams to drive successful project delivery. Occasional site visits, design reviews, and client meetings will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver detailed civil and structural designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and requirements to BIM teams.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordination across all engineering aspects.
- Attend site visits, design reviews, and client meetings as needed.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
- Present confidently to clients and stakeholders, demonstrating strong technical leadership.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years' experience in civil and structural engineering.
- Experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or process industries is highly desirable.
- Minimum BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartership with ICE or IStructE preferred (or working towards it).
- CSCS card required (or willingness to obtain).
- SC Clearance is Essential.
