Production Line Leader / Team Leader
Based: Oldham
(£23,600 per year, based on £12.91 per hour)
Due to growth, a leading FMCG manufacturing business in Oldham is currently seeking 2x Production Line Leaders to join their team. The purpose of this role is to lead a team of Production Operatives to maximise the quality, service and efficiency of the production line at all times.
Ideally you will have some experience within food / FMCG, but we will consider any similar manufacturing experience as full training and on-boarding is given. Ideally you will have experience of either of leading or supervising a team or experience of taking the lead on a particular project. As long as you have a pro-active attitude and high quality standards, we want to speak to you!
Hours / Shift:
35.25 hours per week
(Days or Late shift available)
Days:
Monday to Thursday, 6am-2pm
Friday, 6am-1pm
Lates:
Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10pm
Friday, 1pm-8pm
Summary of core responsibilities:
- Promote effective working relationships
- Maintain company standards – Hygiene & quality
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurately completed
- Report Health and Safety issues and follow up when required.
- Prepare and conduct regular audits
- Ensure adequate skills are available and maintained
- Must drive line efficiency's and continually improve waste
