**Principal/Senior Mechanical Engineer -**

**Location**: Glasgow, Bristol, Stockton or Edinburgh  (Flexible Remote/Office/Site Work)

A leading client in the Net Zero Energy sector is seeking a Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee key phases of mechanical engineering projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and site-based verification.
  • Guide junior engineers, fostering their development and maintaining a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the group lead on resourcing and scheduling to ensure efficient project delivery.

  • Multi-disciplinary feasibility studies and technical verification

**What You Bring:**

  • A Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status (IMechE membership preferred).
  • Experience in regulated sectors such as power, oil & gas, or chemical industries.
  • Proficiency in pipe stress analysis, equipment and engineering specification writing, pressure part design, and plant layout.
  • Strong skills in mentoring, team coordination, and client-facing communication.
