Civil/Structural Engineer - Defence Infrastructure
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Role: 2 days/month in-office)

As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the durability and security of our nation’s critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage documentation that supports Nuclear Infrastructure Design.
- Justify and oversee design changes and concessions.
- Effectively communicate design justifications to safety committees.
- Develop and maintain schedules for Examination, Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing.
- Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
- Conduct reviews to ensure compliance and maintain integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
- HNC in Civil Engineering
- Basic health and safety training
- Training in nuclear safety case development
- Civil/Structural Engineering experience, preferably within the UK nuclear industry.
- Proficient in designing and assessing industrial and maritime structures.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Proficient in relevant design software and IT tools.
