**Role Overview:**

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional mechanical design and engineering services for water sector projects. You will ensure compliance with both company and client policies, focusing on water sector requirements. Your role will involve completing specific design tasks as delegated by the Project Discipline Engineer or Engineering Manager, ensuring that work packs are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Maintaining quality assurance, auditable records, and technical files in line with CDM requirements will be crucial. Additionally, you will facilitate smooth and efficient liaison with other associated partners and disciplines as required.

**Skills and Experience Required:**

  • Proven track record in mechanical engineering within the water sector.
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage design tasks and deliverables efficiently.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of quality assurance and technical documentation.
