**Role Overview**

**Your Mission:**
This position is ideal for engineers with experience in Electrical Design, though those with backgrounds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance are also encouraged to apply.

**Responsibilities:**
- **Technical Excellence:** Specify, produce, and assess design packages.
- **Reliability & Operations:** Define reliability and operational constraints.
- **Maintenance Procedures:** Evaluate work control procedures for maintenance.
- **Design & Material State:** Assess design, material state, and ageing mechanisms.
- **Safety & Security:** Promote a culture of safety and security, ensuring contract outputs meet stringent safety requirements.

**Key Requirements:**
- **Technical Expertise:** Proficient in infrastructure design and maintenance.
- **Safety Awareness:** Comprehensive knowledge of safety and security protocols.
- **Analytical Skills:** Ability to assess conditions and ageing mechanisms.
- **Communication:** Effective communication with clients and teams.
- **Project Management:** Proven ability to manage projects and deliver on time.

**Qualifications & Experience:**
- **Essential:** HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- **Desirable:** Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience, and a degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.
- **Experience:** Broad experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally with HV/MV and LV distribution, protection systems, C&I systems, electrical machines, and a strong understanding of British and international design standards.
- **High Hazard Industries:** Experience in the nuclear industry or other high hazard environments is preferred but not essential.

**Additional Information:**
- Permanent Staff or Umbrella Contract position.
- Sole UK National, SC required to start.
